Davor’s journey began with exploring rivers in Croatia. His strong passion and ambition led to the establishment of a global adventure brand. His first trip to Nepal was a revelation that inspired him to expand Raftrek’s commitment to responsible adventure travel in this small yet geographically diverse country. So, he brought together local experts and seasoned adventurers to launch Raftrek Nepal.

Raftrek Nepal is not just another business but the realization of a lifelong dream for Davor. Founder & Managing Director, Raftrek Nepal

Born in the scenic hills of Ramechhap District, Nepal, Raju Khadka has dedicated his life to exploring Nepal's spectacular rivers, mountains, and remote wilderness. As the Founder and Managing Director of Raftrek Nepal, he has transformed a lifelong passion into a shared vision of delivering world-class rafting, trekking, and expedition experiences across Nepal.

A Government of Nepal licensed and certified River Guide, Raju possesses extensive professional experience leading expeditions on many of Nepal's most celebrated whitewater rivers and trekking routes. His commitment to safety, technical excellence, environmental stewardship, and authentic cultural experiences has earned him the trust of adventure enthusiasts from around the world.

Beyond leading expeditions, Raju has made significant contributions to Nepal's adventure tourism industry through his leadership within the Nepal Association of Rafting Agencies (NARA). Having served as both an Executive Member and Secretary of the NARA, he played an active role in strengthening the rafting community, promoting professional standards, supporting sustainable river tourism, and fostering collaboration among operators.

Beyond Nepal, Raju has become an integral part of Raftrek Croatia, serving as a Seasonal Nepal Expedition Leader for adventure groups exploring the Himalayas. His international collaboration has helped strengthen the connection between European adventure travelers and the extraordinary landscapes of the Himalayas, bringing global expertise while preserving the authenticity of Nepalese adventure tourism.
