Raftrek Nepal aims to provide our guests with the best possible and hassle-free experience. By booking with us, you agree to our terms and conditions. These terms outline the responsibilities of both parties and other crucial policies, such as booking, payments, cancellations, and refunds. So, please review all the details below carefully.

1. Booking and Payment

1.1. Reservation:

Complete the reservation process to secure your spot on any trekking or rafting program. Please provide accurate information to ensure a smooth booking experience.

1.2. Deposit:

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total package cost is required at the time of booking. This confirms your reservation, and the amount will be deducted from the final program cost.

1.3. Final Payment:

The remaining balance must be paid before the specified due date. Failure to make the final payment may result in cancellation of your reservation.

1.4. Payment Methods:

We accept payments via bank transfer, PayPal, and credit/debit cards. Please note that additional transaction fees may apply depending on the payment method.

Note: We will provide the payment details at the time of booking. Participants are responsible for any fees or charges imposed by their banks for international transfers.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

2.1. Cancellation by Participant:

If you have to cancel the trip for any reason, you must do so in writing. The cancellation will be effective from the date we receive your written notification.

2.2. Refund Policy:

  • If you cancel after booking, the deposit (30% of the trip cost) will be forfeited. 
  • No refunds will be provided if you voluntarily leave a trip after it has commenced.
  • Any unused services (e.g., transport, accommodation) will not be refunded.

2.3. Cancellation by Company:

Raftrek Nepal reserves the right to cancel any trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, or other situations beyond our control). In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or an alternative trip option.

3. Participant Responsibilities

3.1. Health and Fitness:

Participants must be in good health and physically fit for the trekking and rafting adventure. It is crucial for a safe trip, and we strongly recommend consulting a medical professional before joining any activity.

3.2. Travel Documents:

You will need proper travel documentation. Participants are responsible for obtaining necessary travel documents (e.g., passports, visas, permits). Ensure you have the required documents before the trip to avoid any last-minute hassles.

3.3. Code of Conduct:

Raftrek believes in adventure with responsibility, so we expect all our guests to respect local customs, laws, and the environment. Disruptive or illegal behavior may result in removal from the program without a refund. Let’s enjoy the journey and be respectful.

4. Travel Insurance

4.1. Insurance Requirement:

All participants must have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, emergency evacuations, trip cancellations, and lost or stolen belongings. Proof of insurance is required before your trip commences.

4.2. Insurance Responsibility:

Raftrek Nepal is not liable for expenses due to inadequate insurance coverage.

5. Itinerary Changes

5.1. Changes by Participant:

Plans can change, and if you need to change your itinerary, requests made at least 45 days before departure will be considered based on availability. The changes may result in cost adjustments.

5.2. Changes by Company:

Raftrek Nepal reserves the right to adjust itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, health concerns). These changes are made with your safety in mind, and the decisions of our experienced guides will be final.

6. Risks and Safety

6.1. Assumption of Risk:

Trekking and rafting are fun and adventurous but involve inherent risks (e.g., accidents, injuries). By booking with Raftrek Nepal, you acknowledge and accept all these associated risks as part of the experience.

6.2. Safety Measures:

Your safety is our top priority, so follow the instructions of our expert guides and adhere to safety protocols at all times. Alcohol consumption is permitted only after activities are completed for the day.

6.3. Equipment:

Participants are responsible for any rented equipment during the trip. In case of damage or loss, the cost of repair or replacement will be the participant’s responsibility.

7. Miscellaneous

7.1. Modifications:

Raftrek Nepal reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions as needed. Any updates will be published on our official website. Participants should review the policy before booking.

7.2. Governing Law:

The laws of Nepal govern this Agreement. In the event of any disputes, all matters will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the Nepali courts.

7.3. Errors and Omissions:

While we strive for accuracy, Raftrek Nepal is not responsible for any errors or omissions in the provided information.
